About Us

 Who We Are:

My Africa Channel Television (MACTV.TV), is an independent, public television station. Our missions is to deliver international programming, and to provide diverse, robust African cultural perspectives to the U.S. viewer market.

We are a Pan African television network with headquarters in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. We endeavor to promote the African cause globally through the creation and broadcast of events from the continent and international community.

We wish to be the voice of the African continent, empowering Africans to be heard and restore African heritage.

Collaborations with National Networks:

We intend to engage in collaboration with national networks across the African continent to re-broadcast their programs on our network. Currently, we are in partnership with Ethiopian television (ETV) on our network. Via this partnership, our channels exchange broadcast content, allowing ETV to operate as a MAC.TV feeder station. MAC.TV broadcasts some of ETV’s prime political, economic, and cultural related content through an agreed network to MAC.TV for future broadcasts to a worldwide audience.

Presently, we are working to collaborate with other countries’ programming networks, including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, and Kenya, in the near future.

Outcomes:

Collaborations of this caliber allow African events, and programs global exposure. Particularly, the world will learn of positive events in Africa. This directly opposed the negative reporting that has characterized mainstream news reporting content regarding Africa. Currently, Africans and the U.S. enjoy positive bilateral relations with millions of African engaging in lawful activities in America. This collaboration will allow these activities to be communicated from the Diaspora to the continent.

Particularly, the content exchange program facilitates the sharing of new, fresh ideas and initiatives between dutiful African at home and enterprising Africans abroad.

THE TEAM!
